BRITISH ASSISTANCE FOR MACEDONIAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

he British Government provided 210,000 pounds for the project for promotion of entrepreneurship, competitiveness and innovation in Macedonia. To this end, Macedonian Economy Minister Vera Rafajlovska and British Ambassador to Macedonian Robert Chatterton Dickson signed the agreement on bilateral technical cooperation in Skopje on Monday.The main objective of the project is extending assistance to entrepreneurship, and small and medium businesses, improving the competitiveness of Macedonian companies on the home and foreign market and encouraging innovation.
Ambassador Dickson stressed the importance of developing the economic capacities for the sake of Macedonia's faster integration with the EU. The main activities include trainings and implementation of new entrepreneurship syllabuses in the educational system.
