nSTOCK EXCHANGE MAKES WEEKLY TURNOVER OF NEARLY EUR 10 MN
In the second week of April, the Macedonian Stock Exchange realized a turnover of about 9.7 million euros, which is a 16 percent decrease from the previous week's 11 million euros.
Nevertheless, the upward trend on the Macedonian stock market continues. The top ten companies that buyers of share showed most interest in are Ohridska banka, Komercijalna banka, the pharmaceutical company Alkaloid, the oil distribution company Makpetrol, the construction firm Granit, Stopanska banka Bitola, Teteks, Makstil, Makosped and TTK banka.
There was interest in the shares of the insurance company QBE too, where a share reached a price of 6,000 denars. The share of the oil refinery Okta was in the focus of interest too, peaking at 18,500 denars.
The shares of the construction firm Beton, quoted on the super-listing sub-segment are still on the increase. The last price that a Beton share noted on the last day of the stock market week was 24,500 denars.
Stock market analysts explain that the construction firm is interesting to foreign companies also because a management team of the French company Vinci, interested in buying Beton, paid a recent visit to the firm.
