Balkan/Gypsy/Ethno Jazz

PROJECT ZLUST

The Macedonian jazz band's British Debut

Project Zlust is an original Balkan ethno-jazz band, playing exceptionally good quality modern and traditional music. Its members are accomplished musicians and composers: Dzijan Emin- keyboard, Ivan Beljkov –bass, Vladimitr Pop-Hristov – violin, Goce Stefkovski –trumpet, Gazmend Berisha –violin, Olivier Samouilan – viola and composer.

They successfully merge classical instruments with Macedonian and Balkan traditional music with Gypsy after-sound beats and jazz. This extraordinary music leaves nobody indifferent. You may listen to it, dance to it, tap your feet on the floor or drum your fingers on the table surface, but you will be engaged. By giving your heart to this music you will sense the spirit of this combination of archaic but also contemporary sound.
